ASO Tools Under $100 a Month: 7 Verified Plans for Indie Developers

Seven ASO tools with real published plans under $100/month, verified August 2026 - what each tier includes, what's held back, and which fits you.

You don't need a $500/month suite to do serious ASO. As of August 2026, seven established tools publish a real plan under $100/month: Astro ($9), Appfigures ($9.99 / $44.99), MobileAction ($15 / $69), ASOMobile ($59), Asodesk ($59), App Radar (€69), and AppTweak ($79). Every price below was verified on the vendor's own pricing page in August 2026; prices are monthly billing unless noted, and they do change — re-check before you subscribe.

What each plan actually gets you

Astro — $9/month, billed annually

A Mac-only desktop app (macOS 14+) covering the iOS App Store only. For $108/year flat you get unlimited keyword tracking with popularity and difficulty scores, keyword suggestions, rankings, competitor analysis, and 60+ countries. Held back: nothing by tier — there's only one plan. The constraints are scope: no Android, no analytics or review tooling, and you need a Mac.

Appfigures — Connect $9.99/mo or Monitor $44.99/mo

The pricing page also lists a free Starter plan. Connect adds 25 tracked keywords on top of Appfigures' core strength: downloads, revenue, and subscription analytics across both stores for 5 apps (then $1.99/app). Monitor raises that to 100 keywords with daily rank updates and keyword popularity scores. Held back: competitor keyword tracking and real-time keyword analysis sit on Optimize at $149.99/mo — just over our line.

MobileAction — Lite $15/mo or Basic $69/mo

Lite is one of the cheapest cross-platform entries anywhere: 100 keywords, 5 apps, 3 competitors per app, 3 months of history. Basic steps up to 500 keywords, 8 apps, 10 competitors per app, and 6 months of history — the most apps under $100 on this list. Held back: 12-month history, 3 seats, and 1,500 keywords need Pro at $239/mo; ad intelligence products are custom-priced.

ASOMobile — ASO Indie, $59/mo ($47/mo annually)

A plan literally named for us: 500 keywords, 5 apps, 50 competitors, 500 review replies, and 1,000 API credits, with keyword research, competitor reports, and branded keyword tracking. Held back: the AI editor, description text editor, competitor tracking, and keyword complexity/effectiveness indices need Pro at $119/mo; visibility scoring and Apple Search Ads analysis sit higher still.

Asodesk — Pro, $59/mo

The biggest keyword cap under $60: 700 keywords, 200 competitor apps, and 2 teammates — but only 2 apps and 100 review replies/month. There's also a permanent free plan (200 keywords, 1 app). Held back: 3,000 keywords and 10 apps need Guru at $199/mo, and heavier review automation is priced as a separate Reply-to-Reviews product line.

App Radar — Essentials, €69/mo (€58/mo annually)

Note the currency — App Radar (by SplitMetrics) prices in euros: 2 apps, 500 keywords, 25 competitors, 1 seat. The 7-day trial requires a credit card and auto-converts unless you cancel. Held back: 10 apps, 1,500 keywords, and a second seat need Growth at €169/mo.

AppTweak — Essential, $79/mo

The premium name that still fits the budget: 500 keywords, 1 seat, 6 months of history, 12+ keyword research tools, live searches, competitor analysis, app page preview, and a reporting studio. Held back: the flashiest data — organic installs per keyword, keyword impact analysis, metadata simulator, trending keywords — needs Grow at $299/mo. That's a steep cliff, so make sure Essential's feature set is the one you actually want.

Pick by situation

One app, nights and weekends

If it's iOS and you own a Mac, Astro at $9/mo is almost impossible to argue with — unlimited keywords for less than two coffees. Cross-platform, Appfigures Connect at $9.99/mo pairs starter keyword tracking with genuinely good revenue analytics. And honestly? If you're pre-revenue, the free options may be all you need this year.

One app that's earning money

You want 500+ keywords and real competitor tooling. MobileAction Basic ($69) and AppTweak Essential ($79) are the strongest all-rounders; Asodesk Pro ($59) gives you the most keywords per dollar if two apps is enough.

A small portfolio (3–8 apps)

App caps matter more than keyword caps now. MobileAction Basic covers 8 apps for $69; ASOMobile ASO Indie covers 5 for $59 with review replies included. If revenue reporting across the portfolio matters as much as keywords, Appfigures Monitor ($44.99) covers 5 apps and scales at $1.99 per extra app.

Three watch-outs before you subscribe

  1. Advertised prices are often annual-billing prices. ASOMobile's $47 and App Radar's €58 require paying for the year; the monthly figures above are what you'd pay month-to-month.
  2. Mind the cliff to tier two. AppTweak jumps $79 → $299; Asodesk $59 → $199. Check whether the feature you'll want in six months is on this side of it.
  3. Trials that auto-convert (App Radar takes a card up front) deserve a calendar reminder on day one.

When under $100 stops being enough

Usually one of three things: you're localizing across many markets and blow through 500-keyword caps; you need install-per-keyword attribution to justify paid UA; or you've added teammates and every tool wants $100+ for a second seat. Until then, the plans above cover a full indie ASO loop: research, track, iterate, respond.

Questions, answered.

Astro, at $9/month billed annually ($108/year, as listed August 2026) - but it's Mac-only and covers the iOS App Store only. The cheapest cross-platform entries are Appfigures Connect at $9.99/month and MobileAction Lite at $15/month.

Can I cover multiple apps for under $100 a month?

Yes. MobileAction Basic covers 8 apps at $69/month, and ASOMobile's ASO Indie plan covers 5 apps at $59/month (both as listed, August 2026). Appfigures plans cover 5 apps, then $1.99 per additional app.

Why is the price I see different from this article?

Vendors often advertise annual-billing prices (ASOMobile's $47 and App Radar's EUR 58 require paying yearly), prices change over time, and App Radar bills in euros. All prices here were verified on vendor pricing pages in August 2026 - re-check before subscribing.
